What is very sad is that three of his close friends died. He now has to live with that. I still don't see how this crash started.

This is exactly why you should WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT. This should also apply to everyone running low et's and not installing a cage or belts. There's an old saying though, "If you have a $20 brain buy a $20 helmet." Apparently those guys got their brains for free.

agreed, i wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for my seatbelt...i got tboned by a pathfinder doing 65 in a 40 zone, of course my 86 T/A was totaled but it held its own.

i see a purple and a maroon camaro in that.. the purple looks to have the SS rims on it.. front's pretty messed up.. can't tell
and.. well.. seems this is over a hell of a long road cuz the sides of the streets don't figure in together.. unless it went suddenly residential....

You'd think if they he was street racing a honda in a fourth gen Z that he would be fast enough to be ahead of the 4 door honda as not to get smacked...so sad

ok, you know what, it is sad that this happened. that is the first thing that i will say.

BUT...

they were dumb enough to engage is this street racing "fast and furious" style. and honestly i have not much sympathy for it.

but you know what, when you take away a place to let the kids do thing legaly (ie dragstrip) this thing wouldn't happen as much. and people are gonna do what they want to do, and we should keep the strips open, not shut them down.
