a moron in a mustang

http://forums.stangnet.com/showthrea...hreadid=172498

this is my buddy with his 3-week old mustang, now most of this story is true, but he neglected to mention that i was in my camaro driving along with him. as we were heading back from about 30 minutes away from our homes we realized it was soon about to rain by the sound of thunder. so immediately, he runs to his car with his t-tops at home sitting in their two neat leather ford t-top bags in the flower bed and i jump into my car with the t-tops still on. we get on the road and for the first 5 minutes we're doing great, the only thing bothering us is the lightning and thunder coming closer. i'd occasionaly jokingly stick my head out the window and yell back to him at how much it would suck to get struck with his tops off or catch a lot of rain. soon enough the drizzle begins and i assume still we can make it, he's following ME of course, it is a mustang behind a camaro as it nearly always is the case. then out of seemingly nowhere, it really cuts loose, drops the size of quarters are smashing up against the windshield and all you can see is a blanket of white haze. of course everyone has to drive slow through this and we were on secondary roads. after about another 5 minutes of driving in the rain i pulled in the closest gas station with a cover and he pulled under. the only bad thing i had to go through was my camaro banner being a little washed off from the heavy rain and wind. i simply drove him in the convience of my camaro to his house and picked up the tops. the funny thing of it all, was once we were heading back to his car at the station, the sun came out. just goes to show how even *** looks upon the camaro over the mustang and clears away the clouds!

personally i think that the pour kid in the mustang should not be laughed at... he merely made a mistake that he must learn from... we must all come to together, we must unite as one in order to make sure that we help this pour lost soul to get his car to the way it was before... and then take it a step farther and give him a little extra boost to make his car awesome... man... it will be ok I know it will... this kid will get throught these trying times and come out a better man...

haha, nice try buddy

just to let you guys know- this 347_magnum is my buddy with the mustang obviously trying to save face. now i know its a simple mistake to get caught in the rain without t-tops, hahha, but the funny thing was he actually told me he was heading out to put his tops on in case it rained before i made my way over to his house! i say it is a mistake, but its simply foolish to leave home withouit the t-tops- lord knows you've got the room for em in the car!!!

The other day I was getting ready to leave work and considered taking the t-tops off. I decided not to and boy was I glad. Halfway home it started hailing hard. If I had the t-tops off I probablly would have got a concussion. I was just happy I didnt take any damage.
