Darn Mustang drivers

OK, I was driving home tonight on the interstate cruising at 75 (limit is 70) And I pass a SVT Cobra who was in the lane to the right of me, I just passed him, I didn't rev or do anything in the slightest to provke him. My friend asked if I could beat him and I said probably not.
So I get 50 feet infront on him and he pulls behind me and a few seconds later turns his high beams on, I was in shock, for a secong I thought maybe he was a cop, but now, he was just some jerk, then he repeatedly turned them on and off, I soon got tired of it and left him in my dust. He didnt try to pursue.

Now I am a big enough person that I don't hate all mustang owners, many are good people, but there are some people out there, including some camaro and bird owners who are just so ignorant it amazes me.

Sorry, I had to vent.

That could be true, I've had people do that to me, I start thinkin, oh crap are my blackouts coming loose and about to fly off.

Oh, and not all Mustang drivers are like that.

Guess I gotta take a pic of mine with the IROC to put in my sig now.

If someone did that to me I think I'd change lanes and if they kept persuing, I'd start going about 10mph below the speed limit to annoy them.

Actually..last night I had someone tailgating me, I thought it was a pickup(I was really tired). It was actually a cop who then pulled me over. I got a warning because he said I peeled out(I was not aware of this, I didn't even stomp on the gas). I told him that I didn't, and he said I must not have heard it over my engine Anyway, he was a nice cop. First time I've been pulled over and not gotten a ticket.

Nope, I know they weren't I check them everytime I arm and disarm the alarm.

That goes for the owners of any car.
Thats true, actually 2 weeks ago a car full of guys in an olds were screwing around with me and when they realized they couldnt beat me, when I slowed down they caught up and started swerving at me. It surprised and scared the **** out of me, what the mustang guy did was just annoying, but that was just insane.

i dont know what it is then. 5'9" is kind of short though so maybe thats it. im 6' 230 and i dont ever get picked on in my car. but then again i dont go out and cruise alot so you probably just have bad luck. as long as your car is faster than theirs you have nothing to worry about anyway. and besides if you work on your car, you probably have a few tools laying around the inside if it comes down to fighting.

No offense at all to 92RS, but I CRACKED up when I read what Primer wrote: are you nerdy looking or something?. I'm sorry, but that's damned funny! Anyway, back to the topic: I don't mind people getting pissed off at me, I don't do it on purpose believe me, but I'm not bothered when they are *******s, because it's fun to pick on them! You could stay in front of them and slow down gradually, or turn your turning signal on and keep it on. I just ignore them and keep blarin' to John Fogerty!

Do those a**hole drivers come standard? Or are they part of the 'I have a small ----- and I have to be mean so people will respect me' package? Does that make sense?

Could be worse

On my way home from work a couple days ago, 2 guys in an import (didn't know what make or country, but it was small, foreign and fart-can equipped) decided to try and play with me like that... Followed me around, acted like he was trying to race me (despite being on a very busy street... moron), etc... I got sick of it and just sped up (didn't actually race him, as I said that would be stupid and very dangerous, but I didn't stick around to put up with his bad driving either...) He followed for a little while, but slowed back down, and I kept going on my way home. Well, about 10 blocks later, I'm in traffic leaving a light, and guess who shows up next to me... He's swerving around in the lane, and being a general fool... Keeps doing it, and he's keeping me in the wrong lane (I needed to make a right turn to go home), so I pass him and make my turn. I'm stopped at a light 1 block after the turn, and this guy and his buddy pull up behind me, get out of their car and walk up to mine, The driver yells 'What the F*** are you doing?', and his buddy tries to climb into my car on the passenger side...

Fortunately, the cross-street was clear, and I felt that running a light would be safer than letting this moron climb in my car... So I took off, left them standing in a 3-lane-per-direction road with a pack of cars behind them... At least your cobra-driver stayed in his car...

Geez, yeah my episodes dont seem so bad now. That would freak me out having them get out of their car.

Just goes to show you how stupid people can be. No matter what they drive

Do you have power windows? You could've offered him a ride he'd never forget.

Yeah, I've found the best way to get someone out of your window is to keep them in it against their will....at around 10 miles an hour or so...not enough speed to do any damage, but is sure scares the bejeebies out of 'em! Not that I've ever done anything like that....

I actually got a guy in a BMW to spill his coffee on his windshield doing something like that. Except I used the emergency brake... on a VW it'll actually lock up the back wheels, but you have to make sure your drum brakes are adjusted about the same... or else you slide the rear end out in a second.

man, i bet you were scared. a couple of weeks ago i was coming home from my girlfriends house. 1 am. cruising down a completely lonesome highway. speed limit is 55, i'm doing 62. i come up on this guy in a new GTP. he's doing 45. i pass him, and then here he comes right on my ***. turns on his brights, and was practically drafting off me. i slowly take off to about 100, to get away from him. nope. still there. so i slow down, and stop at a diagonal across the (2 lane) highway. by this time i was so pissed, i could have killed him. i get out of my car. baseball bat in hand. walk over to his car, and open the door. he pops it in reverse, and took off. it was so funny. i know it was REALLY stupid. and looking back, i know i could've been killed. just thought i'd share.

Two gangster looking guys stopped in front of my dads friend one day... they just stopped, got out walked over to his truck, and started cusing at him. They went back to their car, opened the trunk, pulled out something and walked back to his truck. When they got to his window, my dads friend stuck his glock in their face... They nearly **** themselves and ran back to their car and ran the red light... fools

my buddy used to crew for RCG racing in the escort endurance series. the vette they raced had lettering on the tail that said,
"Don't mess with Texas, $400 fine" (they were from texas)
I guess there is now new meaning to that.
