Protege Vs ME

what i drive right now is a 5speed 2000 protege stock down to the letter,(no insurance on maro yet ) and what i want to know is if my camaro is faster than it, my camaro is stock except for dynomax catback, and also will my dads 02 impala 3.4L stock, be faster than me??

This is the order I place the speed of those cars, fastest first:

Impala
Protege
Camaro

Headers, cam, intake, carb and the camaro will probably be the fastest. You could also go forged internals and dump a 75 shot of N20 on top of that...

The ultimate if you stick w/ V6 would be to drop in a 4.3L... I would say stick with that motor and soup that mother up or go for a V8, it don't make sense to me to drop in a bigger V6... I have a 305 and I don't plan on dropping in a 350 or 383 like everybody tells me... My motto: Make what you got go fast and you'll be happier than going the route everybody else (*cough* 350) did.
