I want to burn some rice!

My cuz has a 97 integra GSR with a supercharger Aftermarket cold air and exhaust and other mods to his v-tec. his car dyno'ed at 257hp thanx to my G-tech and helped take his car into the high 13's and this thing pulls hard as a mother on the highway, I personally took it to 140mph at 6500rpm's.

I want to beat him with my 305 daily driver car can this be done?
(juice, supercharger or all motor anything goes)

be specific guys from engine to trans to rear end gearing(Al creative Idea are welcomed)

Before you guys jump all over me I have a 383 in a race car project and I want to be different with my FREE!! 305 and still drive to work plus I saw CHP make a bulid up go 13.1 and I know guys on this site have done better with less.

thanx guys'

Car: too many ...
if you are going to race at freeway speeds you will loose the torque advantage so I would say you will need forced induction (and maybe a little more!) to beat him.

i too have a 305 and i cant see a reason to try and make it fast (not worth the cost for me?) .... its pitifully slow and will stay that way. makes a good daily driver (good sound) thats about it for me. others have built 305's up to 300hp all motor but i dont know the recipie, sorry.

just put a t56 in your 383 car and eat him alive!!

It can be done, and has. If you can get a hold of NJ Speeder, he should have something for you. If I were you, I would have posted this on the TBI board........1.) More people with more knowledge about the motor visit there.....and 2.) You'll recieve less ridicule from the 350 guys......

Get headers, full free flowing exhaust, cam, some better flowing heads and intake and a Shot of nitrous.

ya he probably needs it but hey I figured i'd give a realistic mod list. I mean if it's a TBI it's gonna be a low 16 second ride. To take two seconds off that you're gonna need atleast that. Also some better gearing and such would be needed. IMO it's a waste of money. Put a nice sounding exhaust on the thing and be happy with it. Leave your racing up to the 383.

Know_bull88: Told ya....

My suggestion: Open element, Ultimate TBI mods, Edelbrock TBI intake, LT1 cam, S/R torquer heads, headers, high flow cat, catback, Zexel-Torsen posi, 3.73 gears, Spohn panhard bar, Spohn LCAs w/ relocation brackets, and some good z-rated tires.
