A girl i work with wants to race me in her boy friends 96 ford probe gt.
My car has:
flowmaster cat back, dynomax converter (both 3in), open element, fiber glass ram air hood with custom ram air, 160 thermostat, computer chip, 305 tbi auto
Her car is completely stock and is a stick
how do you think i will do?

My friend used to have a Probe GT. It was quick. It took a 240sx and a 4th gen v6, but it would't beat your V8. It was nice car and it had good handling. The specs:
2.5L V6
* Horsepower: 164 @ 5600rpm
* Torque: 160 @ 4800rpm
* Curb Weight: 2,921
Not bad numbers but you should be able to take it. Good luck.

Yeah it is always good to beat anything with a blue oval on it. I work tomarrow so i will setup the race and let you know how it turns out.
You've got her..
I have less mods than you and I took a Probe GT-s 24V.
All I have is a s/s hood, open element, hi-performance water pump, and shift kit. Mine's a 1992 RS lo3 automatic.
I raced him from a stop, his was a five speed and I beat him pretty badly. I didn't really start pulling on him until about 4th gear though.
Might as well go ahead and add this to your kill list.

You should kill the probe. I have simuliar mods to you except i have a 5- speed. I raced several probe gt's. They are slow. You should have several car lengths on him by the time you hit 60.

I think you'll win too. Back before I got my gears/rear-end, I raced one of those cars and beat it. All I had then was my flowmaster, you shouldn't have any trouble. Good luck.
