03 Cobra at our track.
03 Cobra at our track.
Just an FYI for those of you who haven't seen these out and about yet, I got to see an 03 s/c'ed(of course) cobra in action. It's actually owned by a friend of mine who's a mechanic and a big ford guy. He already had replaced the exhaust with an x-pipe and 4 inch tips (they look like they came from the factory that way, they're badass!) and was running on street slicks.
He ran 13.43, 13.46, and 13.44 all at 106. Not bad for our 4400ft elevation and 90 degree weather.

I didn't get to run yet unfortunately, so I don't have ET's yet. Next weekend
Judging by who I've raced and what they've run, I should be in the low 14's hopefully, MAYBE(it's a big maybe) 14.0, 13.9 range.
One of my cruisn' buddies 97 Firebird Convertable with CAI and a filter ran 15.1's. That same firebird went 14.3 out in Iowa, so you can see the altitude really sucks. Most of the F-body's I've seen run out here have been low 14's, one 99 Camaro with a 383 and a supercharger went 13.3, but I don't have an extensive mod list for his car unfortunately, so I'm not much help.
