New to the Boards
Hey guys,
I'm not really new to this webpage at all (been visiting since it was first put online), but this is my first post on the message board system....I think. Actually, that may be incorrect. I think there may have been a different board thing up when I used to come here, but that was a long, long, long time ago. Anyhow, just wanted to give a heads-up to everyone out there. I don't actually own an F-Body, but I will eventually (I'm a sucker for those 3rd Gen Formula 350s
). Right now I have a 2001 Honda Prelude SportShift (many will say Sport$hit), but I like it. Hoping to save up enough to purchase an '89 Formula 350 and pay the insurance as well
.
That's my little bit. I'll be on here somewhat frequently, just perusing and so forth. If any of you have questions about Preludes, I'll try my best to answer. HondaPrelude.com was shut down, so I'm kinda reeling from that....but PreludeOnline is still there. I figure we all have lots that we can learn from one another
.
Until the next thread,

Well, let me be the first one to welcome you to the board.
Prelude350, I was wondering if you had any mods done to your prelude. I'm not the biggest fans of hondas(civics/ricers
) but my friend has a prelude and those things can handle extremely well so I respect them.

I was expecting a lot of flaming, but I suppose that will be coming soon. Right now the car is essentially stock, with the exception of a Neuspeed Front Strut Tower Bar (that's a mouthful for such a small part
). Aside from that, it will be going into the shop for repairs (I was side-swiped by a girl that got her license 29 days before she hit me). Let me just say that I HATE rice. Can't stand it, can't look at it.....it ruins the whole impression that I try to give people, ie: there are people that drive these things that have respect for themelves and other motorists. Ugh. Don't get me started on all the Civics/etc. I've seen with big-wing kits, neons, NAWWWWZ, LED lights, and fake fire-extinguishers. What the hell is the point of that anyway (fake fire ext.)? I know my car is slow, but I'm proud of it. Didn't buy it for straight-line, that's why I don't complain too much. At lights I don't even try to race people anymore, I know I'll be toasted by anything with more than 4 cylinders. At highway speeds, though, that's another story. Once my warranty expires, and I have some money, mods are going to go way off the chart. Plans include some sort of forced-induction, as well as the obvious airflow stuff (I/H/E). Since I hate rice so much, the car is giong to retain a stock look, unless I get different springs that actually increase handling. But that's pretty much it. Don't want people to know what they're really racing against
