showed a stuck up camaro guy that his car isn't all that

I went up to the cruise saturday and on the way I pulled up next to a camaro that I guess is a v-6 being the tips on his exhuast are small prolly just a 2.8

I was dinking around with my car for a while so I was playing with the rpms listening to how the motor sounded....

he thinks I am trying to race and says you think you can take me...
I just look over and say I donno but all I have is 80cid

he laughs at me and says my little 4 cyl should be no problem for him in my stupid rice car. and that he beats cars like mine all the time.

so I rev her up to 3000 and wait. light turns green I slip it out till I move then dump. get a slight chirp and start walking away from him fairly quickly. let off and let him catch up then gun it again still in second gear in the fat part of my powerband.... again I just start to walk him.

at the next red light he calls me a f'in lying *** that I don't have just 80cid in my car....

I just say.... that's it man but I don't have a 4 cyl... I dont even have pistons... and he looks at me like I am an idiot and I just drive off

without the turbo the best run was on a g-tech at 14.8

only thing is I had even more mods then. when I went turbo I sold a lot of stuff to make money. well blew the turbo so had to go back N/A and the only things I kept where the filter and header.

right now I am low 16's

if I can get a good launch (IRS and bad tires) I can maybe pull a low 15 but again this is according to the g-tech not a true drag run

how many cars by the time I let off I had atleast 1 1/2 cars I am guessing...

I just don't like cocky ppl in cars that think just b/c I have some 4 cyl (which I don't) that they can beat me when there not driving anything special either

just while I am here some other things I have to share

also when I went to the cruise there are ppl out there showing off all there little lights to one another. LED washers, white taillights and the altezzas, little voise activated lights.. I mean that is the thing with them. almost had a chance to race a viper.... but.... cops...
some guy was telling me that his he bought a early 280 b/c they don't have the speed limiter on them and so he can hit 280mph but the ones with the limiter can only hit 230 or so
just some wierd things out there

do all 89 rx7s stock run 16's????

one friend of mine has a 89..no turbo...(i think it says GTX maybe GLX..im not sure i havent paid that much attention) all that he did to it..was ...he claims to have changed the motor...(got a newer 13B motor is that swap possible...are all of them 654 X 2 ccs ???)

how fast is this guy...i havent run him...yet..usually i dont run rx7s cos the rotarys can be real bad...

but since u are running 16's im considering it..now

ohh he has some sort of a vacuum leak cos it doesnt idle at all...

he is prolly running mid to high 15's if everything is right

as for the 13B yes those are the only ones for the newer

if he wants to get anything else he has to go with a old cosmo motor
