i would also like to know this.and what kinda induction are you using?i think i will be one of the fastest here with a 305 after i dump pointless amounts of money on it just to make a point that 305's can be quick if done right.
and after its somewhere in the 13's its time to move to a 346 ci small block.....LS1....in a C5......and add a supercharger....:hail:

it could be me...
I know I am in the mid-low 13's right now, and I am in desperate need of a stall converter in this car, after that we'll see:
91' 305 TBI block with Vortec heads milled to 57cc and super thin .0015 gaskets = about 10.6:1 compression, Crane Cam, Edelbrock intake, Demon Carb, old style HEI, Hooker Headers w/custom y-pipe, and 3 inch back to a dynomax w/ 3.5 chrome pipes out back, Ram Air (air cleaner sticks out of hood and scoop is open),Crane ignition, w/accel wires, Torque conv. lockup switch and B+M shift kit, 3.23 Richmond gears and a Zexel POSI out back, Energy bushings, IROC springs, coil over shocks in rear, Centerline wheels w/ 275's out back
This one, my California car runs low 14's and can maybe dip into the 13's with some newer, stickier tires, and it only cost me about 2,700 bucks to date:
L-69 bored .030 over 204/214 .420/.442 cam, Edelbrock: intake, open element, aluminum water pump, valve covers Accel: coil, cap, rotor, wires MSD 6A, Hurst Shifter, Edelbrock TES headers, gutted cat, 2.5inch back to a Flowmaster 2 chamber, 3.73 gears

THere are two moderators on some of these boards that run low 12's. Ones name is Willie and the other is like.....Tim Burgess? I think that's his name. They both live here in Tucson. But Willie runs a low 12 and Tim runs an 11.77. I think they have the fastest on here.

I am assuming..
I'm guessing you are talking to me shrp 1, and I am not guessing. I have beat an 89 Iroc 350 G92 lightly modded ( chip, flowmaster, k +n, etc.) when I had a bent valve by 1 car in about a 1/5 mi. run, Now he won't even race, HE RUNS CONSISTENT 14.2'S OR SO. I've watched him beat a 96 Z-28 M6 twice, Not guessing, I don't have times, but if you beat someone who runs consistent 13.0's at the track, especially if you had a bent valve or something, wouldn't you say you were in the 12's??? Most people probably would, or at least be modest and say they are in the low 13's.
Look a little closer at my sig....
