there a guy in our little town with a 3.1 Cavalier. He has an exhaust and CAI, and I'm sure he could take a plain jane 350tpi.
He's actually pretty quick. There are alot of 5.7tpi DOGS out there as well. maybe he raced a dogged motor.

There is no way a new Cav with just exhaust and CAI can run mid 14s with a 5.7

I'd give the cav the race if and only if....
A) the L98 was running on 6 pistons
B) the third gear was out on the tranny
C) his posi was slipping
D) one or both of his rear tires were flat
E) and he had a car load of 250 pound guys and 4 12" subs in the back
That being said...I feel sorry for that poor camaro. I could take it on my bicycle.

Often times I find myself thinking email and messageboard at the same time. When crap like this is posted, I go to the bottom right and attempt to delete it. Dang thing always tells me to respond.

Anything can happen on the strizzity streets, as you all know. I mean, not to go off topic, but... Last night I had the best pizza I've had in a long time. LaNova in Buffalo. Any of you ever had it? Yea, it's some of the best pizza in the nation. Heck, they even have a website where they ship it nationally! I can't imagine a pizza could taste much better. Crispy pepperoni, not TOO much sauce, not too little either, and a delicious mix of cheese. Man...I can't wait to go there again! The problem is it's rather expensive, but it is worth every penny!

okay now i figured it out.
they raced in reverse, the 350 had taller gears so it topped out fast. and then those 2.** gears in the v6 allowed for more speed.
now who ever knew that the smaller gears in back were better???
