Yep! We went from about a 40km/h roll and I pulled slightly on him in 2nd, third i pulled a good 8 car lengths and then I shut it down at about 140km/h.
I figured after about 8 carlengths, with me still pulling and fourth gear coming up, even if he had NOS, it wouldn't have matter'd.

My first "real" kill with the 383.

Good run way to flog on a 383.

I run whatever is the premium at whatever station I'm at. Be it 91-94 octane.
Ipulled at least 8 lengths and then I shut it down, i could have pulled alot more. And I was still in 3rd.

It was a gorgeous car. he saw me in a left hand turning lane. He turned right, pulled a "u-ee" went thru the light and waited for me at the next street. I was pumped all night. he wanted to go off and run again after, but he turned too quick without signalling, so I didn't make the turn. Maybe tonight...

Well, I was 'told" it's 11.0:1. I think it's more like 10.8-10.9. But I have my timing at 16 degrees base, and she hasn't ping'd yet...(fingers crossed).

I want to drop the compression. When I pick up a set of Pro Topline Lightning heads this winter, i think I'm gonna go with 72cc comb. chamb., and then an "under the hood" blower/supercharger will go on top. The wife has already given the go ahead.

Then, I'll be looking for some Z06 doors next spring.

Yeah, well he wants to go again this weekend.
Probably from a stop instead of a roll. I haven't tried to launch the car yet from a stop, but I think I could reel him in pretty quick if I screw it up.

No, I have yet to see one up here in Canada. And from the sounds of it, I think I'd get walked by one. They sound insane.

I may have a 383, but 03 Cobra's run low 12's. they also shell out $65000CAN for one too so for that money it better be fast.

I am/was running a similar compression ratio to Cruz'N Bruz'R . I don't have any problems cause I'm running flattops and had the block zero decked to reduce the quench, and help prevent against detonation.

I wasted the same Formula 2 weeks ago. It's a sweet car. When do I get my shot ????
