i just got wasted....

i just got home from school, and right after i dropped one of my friends, which lives basically in bfe.. i was leaving his house got around the block and looked in my mirror...what do i see? 2 big ol ram air nostrils stickin out at me. it was either an 01 or 02 ta not sure which, it was a pewter color...i saw the driver which looked to be about 40 and figured he wouldnt do anything...he pulls up next to me at a stop sign with the t tops off and stereo bumpin...i was like damn...i was checkin his car cuz it was a beautiful car and he revs his engine, i was like chit im gonna get messed up but oh well i wanted to see this beast run, so he honks and we take off on three, i kept up about half way through 1st after that i was toast...i went to about 65 he was prob doin 80, he slows down and told me he used to have an 88 iroc not to long ago..real cool guy

You can get tricked sometimes cos alot of the older guys don't race.

I remember wanting to race a porsche 911 (pretty much all older drivers with plenty of $$$), cos i hadn't raced one yet.

I came up to the lights, and this 911 convertable pulls up beside me. This guy in his 40's ignores me; he also has his chick in the car.

Anyway, the lights go green, i take off slowly cos i think nothings going to happen, meanwhile this guy nails it!

I got to race a 911 (this thing had one of those spoilers that move position the faster you go )a month or so after that from a rolling start, and the 305 did alright, until we hit the freeway

if im not mistakin 01 was when the hood scoops got extremely large, may of been 00 but it had the huge ram air hood and i figured it was 01-02 i could be wrong though, anyways i do know it was an ls1 car

The hoods havent changed.

Nice death!

Every time I see a thirdgen on the street, I give the driver the respect they deserve. Hell, Im still posting here and havent had my thirdgen since feb.

Man, just thinking about it makes me miss the '85. I wish I could have both!

You probably raced a firehawk, they have 2 really big holes. The T/A ram airs have 4 normal size holes and the normal T/A just has 2 normal holes. They are all very badass though

Yeah, I lost to an SiR once. Then I ripped out the 5.0TPI and put something "real" in there.
