First the tranny is starting to grind going into 2nd and 3rd (see other thread) and I only trap 102.7mph in the 1/4th! WTF! How am I trapping what a stock 99 Cobra should trap? At the top of 3rd my car sometimes hestitates some. Why? Is the filter big enough? How big should it be? And what does the weather do to runs? It rained 10 mins before I ran so there was a good bit of humidity I think


Then posted on 10-07-02 at 12:16 AM two days later, he was asked about his run. He writes!

So there you have it ladys and gentlemen, he NEVER went 13.1 and his 13.52 is his best!!! I would like to here his reasoning as to why he would not say anything on corral about the 13.1 but brags about it here!!!

Well, I'm not going to bash anyone here. But I don't see what the problem admitting the truth is. I probably have two of the slowest vehicles here. So what? I still like them and there are much, much slower vehicles...unfortunately. The Olds is going nowhere yet, the Crown is 17s at best, and the Topaz is slightly slower. In the condition the truck is in, I doubt it could make the quarter.

Point is: Why lie about .4 seconds when you are already in the 13s? I mean, good run, man. If you should be doing better, big deal, keep working on it.

You have to understand that Monkie has been flaming and pi$$ing people off for a while, and I would consider this the icing on the cake. Not only does he start problems, he is lying about his times. I realize people lie, but when you start saying how you run almost .5 seconds quicker and 4 mph and then use it against others!

Well the truth s Monkie wasn't bright enough to cover up his tracks.

Why do people lie in the first place, I mean damn, I know my car is slow, and something is wrong with it, but I don't go around saying yeah I run high 13s.

 

He probably lied to cover up that he was running what stock 99s run! I just found it funny, the day he got ragged on for the 13.5, he all of a sudden went 13.1 at 106!

 

He just can't come to terms with the fact that he can't drive and doesn't have the fastest car out there. I want my car in the 11's but i'm settling for low 13's to high 12's right now. I could go and lie about what I have done and say i run 11's but what the hell is the point? The only person you're fooling is yourself. I'm starting to wonder if his whole procharger and nitrous thing isn't just a big old story too. I'm guessing it is cause honestly I work my *** off and have enough trouble paying for my car and getting a couple mods here and there. Nevermind a $4000 procharger and a $800 nitrous kit. He's just a troll..always has been and always will be and will never get any kind of respect on this board.

 

I will say he did mention the Procharger over ther, but he also mentioned a LIVE AXLE!!! If that is the case, then he has NO excuses! I will check it out and come back.

one more thing... hes always talking about how his car has "the fix". apparently "the fix" was for the previous owner to sell the car to some gullable 17 year old kid

 

Actually in some really old posts, his dad drove the car while he drove his V6 Camaro. So basically dads car got the fix!!!

A '99 Cobra with his mods should be going at least the 13.1 he said at 105-107!

A stock one would run what his modded one did run! It's not a big deal except that he lied and used it against us!

The 13.52 was not on the nitrous, I hope, but even so, on the spray he would only be going mid to low 12s at 110 or so!

His performance isn't the sad part, the sad part was he acted childish when he was shown to run slow, and lied to us to prove something. The only thing he proved is that he is embarrased about his overpriced, overrated car, and that when proven wrong he won't even show his face (or screen name) here again!
