is it any difference betwean a -97 ,-98 or -99 corvette c5 or are they the same?????

Basically the same motor from my knowledge, HP may change by +/- 10 or so.

the LS1 got a 5hp boost in 01' when the LS6 intake manifold became standard on all C5s. all 01 and later C5s also got the stronger LS6 clutch

mostly all '01-'02 LS1 equipped cars get the LS6 intake and the manuals get the zO6 clutch. And the crappy rear end i know

they introduced the hardtop in 00 and new wheels. I don't know when they came out with Z51 suspension. Also, I'm not sure if they had a convertible in 97. If they had both of these, I don't think there were any changes from 97-99. The motors certainly were all rated a 345/350.

they had a convertible in 97 and they had Z51 in 97. the hardtop was 99-00 and only came in 6 speed Z51 trim. They have only made small changes. boosting power from 345 to 350 hp.
