How Bad
ok well my ideot borther wants to race me, he has a civic hatch back with an integra GSR motor in it, he has ported/polished intake, and thats about it, its V-Tec also,
any way i ran his settup on desktop dyno and it says 152 hp at the wheels, i ran my 350 and it says 311 hp, he want to race me, well i told him after he gets a new O2 cencor and after i got 500 miles on my engine i will take him on the freeway and race, then on the light afterwards comming home,
so what are your predictions on the outcome on the highway, i got 50 bucks riding on this and please be blunt.

The b18 motors in those GSR's are about 170 HP.. Figure around 180 with his "mods"..
In a civic hatch weighing only about 2300-2400 lbs (not sure on actual numbers, I just know they are light)... I'd say he is probly running somewhere in the mid 14's if he can drive and if everything is working right.. Could be lower, but I'm not positive on that..
If you race him off the line, it should put enough distance that he will not be able to catch you... Depending on how your car runs you should be able to take him easily..

I may get flamed for this but you said you're gonna race him on the freeway right? I wouldn't be so sure of a garuanteed win, now a dead stop race you'll smoke him like a pack of cheap Newports..

well ive driven his car before a few days ago on the highway, its freaking slow even when its in V-tec, i took my camaro on it and put down 1/2 throttle and it pulled just as hard. i cant wait to get my miles on it so i can put the throttle all the way down. :lala:
