Took down an Eagle Talon TSI

I just pulled outta the gas station and I see a ***** up ahead in traffic, so I give chase. I caught him at the next light and he was in a group of cars, one of them an mid 90's 5 speed eagle talon tsi. After a few revs I get his attention and we begin to go back and forth. Then I gave it some gas and the talon comes flyng up on me and as luck would have it a car pulls out in front of me, I guess he thought we were racing. I had to hit the brakes. Then after a few miles, we couldn't get a light so we honked three times and punched it from a 30mph roll. He pulled on me at first, then once I hit second I pulled back and ended up havng him by 2-3 lengths by 90 stilling pulling hard but had to shut down. So I say good race and go home, the next night I found out that my brothers girlfriend knows them, and he said he beat me the first race! So I had to settle this, and we met up at a local pizza place. I aired my DR's down, and we go out to a nice strech of road. We hit the first light, I did a little burnout and the light goes green and we are off. I pulled on him and by about 65mph he was so far back I thought he wasn't racing. He said he bogged, so we go again, same results, but this time I had to shut down at around 60 due to traffic. Then he wants to race from a role, so we hit it around 30 again, he got the jump but I ended up passing him very quickly, and by 90 I had him by about 3 lengths so I shut down because of a red light ahead. I asked if he wanted to race my brother(in his 94 formula) or my other friend (in a 85 trans am) but he said he had enough. I guess had enough butt kicking from american cars for one night. Oh yeah and his mods were and upgraded turbo, and he is supposed to get some more work done and after xmas we are going at it again.

i once raced a TSI from a 30 mph roll. I beat his asz so bad it wasn't even funny, the funniest part is i wasnt even giving it 1/2 throttle. He had the usual **** stuff(wing bigger than his car, louder than usual blow off valve, fart tip, etc..). No problem for a SBC engine

Good kill. All the runins I have had with DSM have been lightly modded. I just dread the day when I find a heavily modded ones. It is funny when the AWD DSM want to run from a role because they are taking away one of their biggest advantages of AWD.

Nice kill, but you do have to be careful with those DSM's. I'm hoping to put a hurting on my one friends 95 TSi once I get my new cam in and get some porting on the heads.
