Well Sunday night we had the 88 out for the last night before it underwent the new @$$ transplant (ford 9") and me and a buddy pulled into a gas station and heard this loud throaty exhaust and look over and there it was a 99' Cobra w/ Flowmasters. First off I will start by sayin my car is heavily modded and stripped out so it could be mistaken for a track-only car. But anyways we pull up to it and this kid was the poster boy for 16 year old Mustang drivers (no offense to Mustang drivers, there are plenty helpful and knowledgeable ones) but this kid was listening to Nelly had bleached blonde hair and a backwards upside down visor (supposed to be cool !?!) Anyways I revved and he revved back and laughed that little punk ***** so I turned up Ratt (dont know why?) and proceeded to launch at 3000 rpms when the light went to green and I $hit you not I musta put 2 to 2 1/2 cars on this kid his car was nice but he prolly doesnt know how to drive it. Then I was tryin to be nice and pull over to talk to him and he flipped me off. Oh well when he gets his K&N airfilter and his new neon lights maybe hell be able to beat me. really it wasnt a race it was more of a kill but just thought Id share as I know you people can all imagine these type of jerkoffs.

Yeah I beat a moded 5.0 and every one in the car gave me the finger o well i dont care I know my car is fast.

 

I know what you mean about the stupid kids with mustangs. i'm 16, but about half the cars at our our school are v6 'stangs with flowmasters. All the kids that drive them think they are so cool. I can't wait till christmas break is over. i just bought a 1995 T/A. Sorry, that 3rd gen just wasn't doing much for me.

 

I'd really like to know where the whole upside down/inside out visor trend came from myself.

Well, being a 17 year old kid with a Mustang, I know exactly what you are talking about. Most people would think I am the typical punk kid (minus the gay bleached hair, visor, and rap) until they talk to me. I would never flip anyone off if I lost. I do notice those stereoytpical Mustang drivers, and I can't stand them. They are usually big shots on the street, but when you see them at the track pulling mid 14s, I just have to laugh!
