uh....
Not positive but I am pretty darn sure that they run better than mid 14's, very low 14's at worst is my guess. They could only weigh like 2700-2800 pound being how small they are, so the torque doesn't really come into play.

G35's are four door sedans based on the 350Z platform, so i am thinking it weighs in near the 3000+ mark. IN fact here is auto traders specs. http://www.autotrader.com/research/m...&ac_afflt=none

Well they are only listing the 4door, but at 3300lbs i would imagine the 2door is still around the 3000+ mark and with less torque than the iroc i would say he has a good chance.
well i was looking in C&D, and curb weight for the G35 coupe is 3485lbs... thats a lot.. 1/4 in 14.6... say with a good driver 14.2-14.4... and both the coupe and sedan are based off the same platform.. the FM platorm. FM standign for Front/Mid engine... there u go... 350 thirdgen with a little tweekin and a driver, could be an awsome race...

ya we were looking at one of those in the Infiniti car lot last weekend and my mom thinking about getting one. There is the coupe too and it has 280 horse and a 6 speed manuel option as opposed to the 4 door sedan which only has 260 horse and 5 speed auto. so it look like if my mom gets that were gonna be running a pretty good race huh? ive drivin quite a few of the Infiniti's because i used to work at their lot over the summer and i gotta tell you those G35's can move, they definately impressed me, now I work for BMW now so its M3's, M-roadsters, and M5's, pretty much everything BMW makes, only thing I haven't got behind the wheel of yet is a Z8, damn. I wouldn't even think of taking on one of those cars yet until i did a little more tweaking to my car.
the 350z has 287 hp, the g35 coupe has 280. basically they are the same exact car, the only differences being the g35 doesn't have a strut tower brace, and looks much much better.
i usually don't like the looks of foreign cars for some reason, but DAMN did nissan get it right with this g35. i'm trying to convince my dad to trade in the sable for one
ps - not that there's anything wrong with the sable, it's a great car, i just fell in love with the g35
oh, and back to the original thread, i think it would be VERY close. can't wait to hear about one...

I would love too see the race to be perfectly honest with you.
I do have to say this will be more computer controlled HP in the new G35. This makes it more efficient, and I would have to say it would be really close. Again, I would love to read of one of our kind kicking the hell out of one
