Its a L98 350ci, but in a lighter car then the F-Body's. Can be made quite fast.

I would say low 14s high 13s stock, whih is right on par with a new Mustang GT. With minor mods they can be made to go very fast, but where I live they are overpriced.

How much do you plan on spending?

expect high 13s out of a bone stock L98 Corvette if you can drive. ive got about $1200 into my 89' auto Vette and am running high 12s. heres the breakdown of what i did:

stock- 13.9 at 99mph
flowmaster catback- 13.8 at 100mph
cut lid w K&N- 13.6 at 101mph
free mods, airfoil, AFPR- 13.4 at 102mph
front ypipe, DRs- 13.2 at 104mph
CAI, 2500 stall converter- 12.8 at 106mph

6speed cars are pricey, especially if its got low milage, mostly because the ratio of autos to manuals in C4s is like 75/25... so while theyre not rare, theyre just hard to find.

tpivette did you run a 12.8 yet or are those guesses? Your sig still says 13.2, so did you go 12?

i found at least 3 with 6 speeds, 6500 to 8000, i think the 6500 had like 115 on it. either way if its mechanically sound with high miles thats not a problem cuz when ever i get back on my feet from buying it i would eventually want to rebuild it any way. i want one real bad, ive had a 5.0 and a z28 and its like the last one to buy and if i do it has to be a 6 speed. what sucks is all the ones i found are 500 miles west or like4 or 500 south (i live in pa) but if i can find a good one id have no problem going to get it. corvettes are ridiculous to buy aroung here. considering it had high miles if the paint was good and its mechanicaly sound do guys think its a good idea?

I would. I had an 84 vette. Luv'd it. Owned it longer then i have owned any other car[almost 6 years]. Would gladly get another one if i could aford it. I like the 90 Red and the 93 Black Rose the best, just because, no other real reason.

dark dark metallic green.....

when i was about 11 my mom was buying a new buick roadmaster, and i spent hours in the dealership just messing around (this was in 91) there was a brand new metallic green zr1 in the showroom, and i was sitting in it for like 2 hours. the window sticker was like 65K.....more or less a religious experience.

I bought mine when i was 19, was a wicked light silver. Everyone at school nick named it the Silver Bullet, as back then i only knew 2 speeds, full throttle and brake. Oi, the money i could of saved, went through a new set of rear tires every month and a half. Now ten years later i wish i would of saved more of that money.

That car was pretty much the best car i have ever owned, i put that car through hell and back for six years and it took every day of it. 2 trany's, u'joints and a trany mount was my only repair bill other then regular maitanence. And one of the trany times wasnt even my driving , blew a leak and seazed, no oil kinda does that.
