bigger TBI vs LT1

I was thinking about upgrading my mighty LO3 to a bigger TBI unit. They have it here: http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...22&prmenbr=361

lt1 are like very low 14's, i am not sure you could take one with what you have now and with that part listed.

Will that bigger TBI not do me much good with my stokc LO3? hehe I'm just looking for a way to make my engine somewhat faster now, till I get the paint job and the 383 done.

Different TBI wont do anything for you. For the most part, GMs have pretty adequate fuel systems. Increasing their capacities without doing some other type of work is generally worthless. The exhaust system on the other hand, GM has them all FUBAR'd. I'd start there if I were you.
