Haha this was a good night. I was driving around with 3 friends, one of them just got a 90 Stang 5L (nice car btw, it would smoke me) and after riding around in the stang for a bit, the owner was getting a sore leg from using the clutch (what a wuss) so he wanted to ride around in the luxury Cutlass to get comfortable and relax for a bit. So we're driving around and we see these guys we know in an Intrepid (not the smartest bunch) and they try to pass us so I punched it but I was doing 60km/h which is my cars worst spot cause it won't downshift, plus I had 4 big guys in my car. The intrepid had 3 scrawny little bastards. So they just barely get by me while my cars still turning only 3000rpm. Then we're talking to them at the movie theater and they say my cars a piece of sh*t and it got smoked by the Intrepid, so I told them about the downshift problem and the extra weight (also had about 100lbs of junk in the trunk). So now they want us to race which I wasn't so inclined to do cause I'm worried about tickets. Eventually they talk me into going out to this long straight stretch north of town. We go out there and luckily theres 4 cars of people so we got some at the end of the stretch to call us if cars are coming. Then we line up and I brake torqued for about 5 seconds until smoke was pouring off my expensive Michelin Arctic Alpins (ouch). To make a long story short I killed him off the line even though his car gets better traction, I rode in it, and I had about 3 car lengths on him all the way up to about 120KM/H (~80mph) where I hit the brakes and slowed down to be safe. Then he did the Chrysler fly by. Later on he said he beat me at the end but everyone else that watched said I smoked him all the way and they saw me hit the brakes.

The guy in the Intrepid then got smoked by another guy in a 93 Tempo (with a 3.0L V6!). I didn't race the Tempo cause it would've been a close race and even just having a close race with a Tempo would be embarassing :-)

After that we went back to the coffee shop and the sore loser took off cause he was so embarassed.

 

Rewrite this to be thirdgen related if you can. If you raced a thirdgen in there too or something, maybe I missed it?
