yesterday afternoon I raced my buddy in his challenger twice, this car is mint, he just go done basically giving it a ground up resto, it has a 340w/.500 lift cam, not sure on heads, edel. intake, hooker headers, and 2.5 true dual exhaust. This car is absolutley beautiful..but anyways we go out to a deserted 2 lane road and we go 20-90 two times, the first time we take off at exactly the same time and i pulled about 2-2.5 cars on him by 90, the second time he got the jump on me and got in front first but not by much. I slowly start pulling back past him and end up about half a car in front of him at 90...these had to have been the best races I have had since I got my new heads. If I can find a pic of his car I will post it because it is soo gorgeous lol. oh btw its a 73w/ a 4spd and his best time is 14.6

Usually 340's are quicker than that. A friend of mine had a mild 340 in his Challenger and he ran mid 13's. Proper tuning, gears, traction, etc. play a big role too. BTW, good kill!

When I had my old escort I threw a few revs at a 70's challenger R/T hopeing he would give me a show. Well, he did. And I got a few pics of it too.
