87 IROC-Z vs 00-03 Mustang

Just wondering about this

have a stock 87 IROC-Z (350) and wondering if it would win / how close it would be/ blah :P if it were to ever race a newer model STOCK mustang (2000 - 2003)... the dash says like SRS Mustang or something like that.

also; anyone know of a website that has a list of track times for STOCK cars? like every year, every type of car, etc.

SRS means Suplimental Restraint System. It just means it has passenger side airbags.

I have beat a stock 2002 Mustang with only exhaust mods with my 305.

All I had was exhaust mods at the time. A Mustang GT is not that tough to beat in stock form. Now a Cobra on the other hand.......

i beat a 02' 5 spd GT just last night. we went at it 3 times. he lost all 3 times. this was is in my 88' minor free mods. i wish i had more money for some real mods. i've beat many early/late model stock gt's, but when they're modded.....

must have some mighty good mods to beat a low 14 high 13 second car. new GTs are much faster than 5.0s

i dunno i can run with/beat some lt1's and vice versa with the new gt's. i think it has to do with the driver mainly. i raced my friends 02' auto and we were side by side to about 110 where we let off. so a win is a win... hehe

that guy last night brought it on.... not me. i don't start **** since i know the car is not that quick by today's standards hehe.

the newer gt's are pretty quick, i had trouble beating one last night, it was from a roll though.
