Something different...

Ok I know the moderators are fairly particular about what we post, but you guys have got to hear this one. Lastnight we're out street racing, lots, and lots of new faces and new rides out this season. One is an '85 or so S-10, white no grill and no slicks, sounds ok. Well I heard it was quick but you know how that goes. He got called out by a another truck that runs 12's. The race started and the 12 sec truck took the lead by at least 2 cars. Then at about 40-50mph(guessing), the white S-10's headlights started going all over the damn road swerving, then straightened out and yanked the 12 sec truck by about 8 car lengths! Found out he has a mild 350 SB with a diesel turbo on it!! It just took him a while to spool that big turbo up. He is only running about 12psi(supposedly), but when it went by it sounded freakin incredible. For the record later that night he got called out again by another 12 sec truck. He was paddling his *** too, then just past half way he blew his head gasket to hell. White smoke was pluming from that thing. Still it was badass and I'm sure he'll be back.

Yeah, I agree that does sound cool. I like the way the blow off valve sounds on turbos, pretty cool if you ask me. But on the other hand I also like the way superchargers whine even at idle, lol. Oh hell, they are both frickin cool in my book. Sounds like one badass truck with some serious turbo lag, lol.

Ya he actaully had part of his hood cut out so that the turbo would fit in the engine bay. It was the wildest exhaust setup I have ever seen. It still blows my mind that he used a diesel turbo on that thing, someone said they can pull somewhere around 37psi if need be!!:hail: We'll see I guess...
