Someone today asked me why on earth I want to make my car a 500+ HP montster.

Because I can was my response. To a point it is true. I enjoy the challenge of doing it. Plus I like the styling of the thirdgen. To me it is reasonably the ultimate vehicle. And it will be built with my own hands.

So I ask all of you. Why do you mod your car?

 

cause the body kit makes my car more aerodynamic and better looking
the wing makes my FWD car car stable at speed
and stickers because it makes my car better looking and maybe one day I will get sponsership because of those stickers and actually be able to afford the products of the stickers I have.
also my car makes more hp/l then any other stock car out there :d


actually I mod it because it's fun to drive, I enjoy racing and the sound of a pissed off chainsaw is fun.... oh yeah telling someone they just got beat by 1.3L of pure fury and watching the looks on their face is just priceless

and to me life is nothing more then one turn after another followed by a nice chicane after a long straight

 

to me.....I think that third gens are mean looking cars. If they have the ground effects on them they look like they could kick some @$$. So, I mod mine to back up the look. Plus, why drive slow when you can drive fast.. They can denie it all they want to..women love great looking cars...Its another plus if can kick the other good looking cars @$$.

racing is fun. nothing better than to have a faster car than %85 - %90 of everything on the street.

 

because once I get used to it going so fast it gets boring so I have to make it faster...kind of like cocaine...you have to have more and more to satisfy your needs until you kill yourself

I modded my car because it was painfully slow stock. That and because I wanted to have a faster car than my friends!

 

Cause I have nothing better to spend money on............and im stupid.

Anyone can go out and buy a factory 12 second car (Z06, LS1, "03 Cobra).

I take more pride in building my own car that can do the same (as well and handle and brake awesome)

 

Building cars is fun. Plus there's a sense of satisfaction when you see something you made actually work the way it's supposed to. I totally agree with the adiction thing. I thought 14.5 was pretty fast until I got down to a 13.7, but then I got my butt handed to me by a 12.5 car. So now I need to able to go 11s so I can be the one winning.

 

That's hilarious, But your right, I guess if you got money why not be addictied to Speed.

My car is a couple things to me. One its fun to drive. Two its fun to work on. Three I am addicted to the idea of outrunning most of the cars out there and all the cars my friends have.

I have few other ways to entertain myself because I am boring.

It's a hobby, why do people collect stamps or baseball cards? Because it is enjoyable and when you are finally done the car you can look at it and say "Yeah, that's my car, my baby, and look what I did" It's a sense of pride and accomplishment

 

What else am to spend my money on or waste my time with?

Cars don't give you attitudes and whine and complain...plus a car be, if done right, an investment...my luck with the ladies has taught me one thing...

The more I learn about women the more money I spend on both my cars :sillylol:
