First kill with the RS...

Beat an H22 powered Civic hatchback last night. In case you don't know, the H22 is the engine found in the Prelude. My import friends say it’s the Honda equivalent to a big block. You know, the whole "big" engine in a small car thing…

Anyway, this was from about a 30 mph roll. I was in second gear, I begin to slowly bring the gas pedal down and then he gets on it. I punched it and proceed to walk the guy. At the top of second I had a little more than a car on him. By 80 mph I've got him by about two and a half cars when I had to let off. Not much to tell as it was a short little run but had this been from a dead stop, it would've probably been really ugly for the Civic. Still, that was a quick little car. I doubt my Iroc would’ve been able to beat the guy.

Not what I envisioned for the RS's first kill but I'll take it I guess.

what have you got done to that RS? or are you keeping it a secret

the race you had with a H22 hatch sounds just like the one i had with one in my girlfriends 94 Formula. we went from a 40mph roll to about 80mph. by the end of the run i had about a car or 2 on the Civic. his Honda had only a catback and cold air, while the 4thgen has a CAI only

Nice kill! Next time run him from a dead stop. His H22 "big block" is no match for the torque of a Chevy V8.

The only mod I have done to the RS is an air foil. The previous owner on the other hand, well thats a different story...

I bought the car from '87FAKE-IROC-Z about a month ago.
The short list of mods: 357cid, Super Ram, LT4 Hotcam, AFR 190's, Harland Sharp 1.6RR, Edelbrock Headers, Yank 3200, 3.27's, Ed Wright custom prom

Yeah, must be really fun to drive!
Sounds like it was a pretty quick little car if you only had him by a couple car lengths!
You should put the Tbody off your Iroc on it just to see if it makes any difference. If either car needs it it's the RS.
Tried to play with some pos Integra the other night, he wouldn't even try. Then he proceeded to rev his engine outside my house later that night.

I completely forgot about the other TB. Well, at least that gives me something else to do while I'm home this weekend.
That and a front brake job, thanks a lot there Paul!

There's this cammed LT1 T/A at school I've been trying to get to give me a run but he just won't do it. It's kind of funny because he had no problem messing with my Iroc.
