lost to a stang...

My buddy has a 98 GT with flowmasters and today we decided to race finally. Well, we raced both from a roll and a stop. From a roll it was at about 40 when we punched it. I took him until the shift into 3rd and as soon as he hit 3rd he passed me but never got farther away than right in front of me. From the light we were dead even through first, I chirped into 2nd and got about a car length ahead of him and again when he hit 3rd gear he passed me but i stayed at his bumber until about 105 when we let off. Oh well, maybe another day.... I don't have my aluminum driveshaft in yet, think that would have made ANY difference at all?

Depends on how much lighter the aluminum driveshaft will be.

Any decrease in rotating weight will obviously boost performance.

Me too man, me too.

I have beat 2000 Mustang GT's from a stop. Never raced one from a roll.

Can't wait until I get the 383. I'll do alot better with that in there.

yah i cant afford to actually buy a 383 motor, so im gunna throw a 400 crank in my 350 and buy all the internals 1 piece at a time. and when im done...
yay i'll have a 383.

probably take me atleast a year or so, but i'm not in too much of a hurry. beatin stangs with my 350 keeps me happy for now.

hehe
