ok so this girl that i'm "talking" to has a 91 mustang. i keep tellin her how slow it is, just giving her a hard time and how i could run cirlces around her if she ever raced me. tonight she was like when u get ur license back (dont ask) lets race. so i was like ight. so she has just exhaust, i think it's just the muffler but i'm not sure. it's and auto so i think i could take it, 5 spd maybe not but since it's an auto 5.0 i think i could. what do you guys think, if and when this race happens what do u think.

btw both cars are in very good condition about the same miles and well taken care of.

Look for Mustang5L5s car. He had an auto and went 14.4 stock! The AODs sucked big time (I went 15.3 stock with my AOD and 2.73s) but some performed well. I think you have this race, but if she had a 5-speed you never know.

 

i agree about the 5 spd. but right now i dont know if i'm gonna talk to her like a civilized person again or not. so this race is most likely not gonna happen. it's to bad i have to much appreciation for cars or i would do something not nice to it

 

Man a 14.4 stock for a 91 5.0 thats pretty freakin good. My friend Had a 92 5spd with like a 3.27 or around that number gear, and the best we could break after 7 runs was a 14.7 , thats bad a$$ for a stock 5.0 . Anyway until I heard that I was sure you had her but now I would say its the drivers race.Good luck.

Yeah, but mine was an LX and was one of the stronger running 87-88 Speed Density cars....plus I know how to drive my car to the max of what it can do.

89-later AOD cars were a big more sluggish. Look for low 15's from an AOD '91 GT.

Besides, you aren't supposed to win. This is what you do. You say if she beats you, you will take her out for dinner. Then you race and let her win. Then take her out, romance her and shabang her and take pics for us. I pulled the same trick on an ex of mine who said her escort ZX2 would win. I let her win, took her out and had a nice relationship. Later on she drove my car and says "How the hell did I beat you?! You let me win! You *******!!"

 

right now i dont wana take her out to dinner and dont want to sehbang....well the shebangin wouldn't be bad but i just wana smoke her right now and laugh at her
