UPDATE: 88 IROC vs. 91 Z28!
Well him and I were playing a lil tonight but it didnt answer any questions.
Rolling starts (15-25mph) I would just pull on him, very very slowly, but inch by inch I'd pull. Which was wierd, cause he has the 3.70 gears, and a rolling start, he doesnt slow down by spinning
We stopped and did a short race, not a full quarter since it was a back road, dark, and a narrow road, very bad combination. But Since I have to get it inspected tomarrow and value my tires, I MAJORLY babied my launch so there wasnt even a chirp. I pulled rite away so his nose was by my mirror, we stayed that way for a lil more than an 1/8 (about)
Then the end was confusing, I dont know if he pulled on me, if I let the pedal up a lil, or what, but we switched spots from me in front to him in front REAL quick. If I didnt move my foot... the only explanation I could come up with is I think he may have the kit that lets the tranny go into OD at full throttle and not know it.
the reason I say not know it, is cause we are kinda friends and he told me all thats done to it and didnt mention it, then after we "raced" he said how "it really takes off once it gets into drive"
I think if I didnt baby the launch so bad I would have been further ahead that his quick pull wouldnt have mattered as much
But anyway What do you think about why he may have pulled if it wasnt me letting my foot up a lil.

i believe at WOT, for overdrive to kick in you would have to be going about 100+mph....if your hittin that in an 1/8th..:hail: :hail:
