The Iroc or the......Tiburon??

Yea, it kinda sucks that these imports are gettin faster but I need your opinons. My sisters friend keeps talkin s**t about it tiburon beating everything. It has nothing but an intake, but he claims it can beat the lt1's, stangs, exc. I dunno how fast these are but do you think i'll have a problem. Oh yea its the v6 with the 6 speed. My mods are in the sig.

Well, he's full of it, I killed one that wanted to play on the way to work earlier this summer. I run into him now almost everyday on the same road everymorning, needless to say he dont wanna play anymore.

They are quick, my friend lost to one in his TBI car but they wont hang with LT1's.

I'd say if your running good, u'd have him out of the hole but he'd have ya top end, expecialy with them gears. Again traction will come into play on that too.

we put just a cold air intake on my friends Tiburon (inline 4) and pulled a best of 16.3 on it.

Don't know about the 6's though

I dont see you losing to the newer tiburons. I have beaten a couple on the highway pretty bad and i have the LO3. Your rear will get you out of the hole fast and i just cant picture him catching back up to you. good luck though.

I raced a riced out one getting onto the highway with my LT1 and needless to say it was absolute destruction. He must have been so embarrased. He had a 4 car head start to and I reeled him in real quick and ran away. Go get him and shut him up.

man, you guys dont know what you're talking about. a stock Tiburon will hand any Camaro/Firebird/Mustang on the street its azz! you guys obviously havent heard of Hyundai Performance Parts. he's gotta be pushing at least 14 or 15 horses out of that one, expecially since he's got the intake!

The GT's with a manual trans are legit high 14/low 15 second cars in stock form. Not bad for a n/a 6 cylinder IMO.
