LO3 vs RSX Winner LO3
Okay so i was at a stop light going to work (ups) and a RSX pulls up next to me so naturally i rev at him...He dosent rev back but i could tell hes gonna race b/c of the look he gave me. So i drop it into granny gear #1 light turns green and smashed it got full traction (barely ever happens). I immediatly pull 1/2 car on him right from the get go, i bring it upto 5k and shift it into 2nd...pulled another 1/2 a car on him so im out by 1 full car length going about 70mph in 2nd gear i let off the gas fearing a cop would c me doing 70 in a 45...he passes by with a mean face on, luckily to say i went to work a happy man.

When I used to have a L03, Integras with boltons could keep up with me up to 80mph. The RSX has more power stock than an Integra. Are you sure he was racing you? I'm not defending the RSX or anything, but I know how much of a dog the L03 is ...

Sounds like he smoked him off the line and the RSX could not launch and had to play catch up. No to mention the start from a stop advantage that the LO3 has. They only ran to 75 so that sounds about right. Any further and he would most likely been passed by the RSX.

im
pretty sure myself it wasnt a type S...i let off at 70 becuz of fear of gettin cought by the cops..I had him by about a car length and i was still pulling...I know right from the launch i took him and he had alot of making up to do...As far as my car being modded all i have is an open element on it so as far as it looks il be getting hooker exhaust which should let it breathe a lil better as well as 3:42 gears to get me off the line a little quicker hoping for low 16 high 15's with that combo...then comes the head work, 454TB,Bigger injectors,.5 TB spacer, shift kit, hypertech chip, march pulleys,LT1 cam, edelbrock performer intake, roller rockers,SFC,Fuel pressure regulator, and headers which might be followed up by a 75 shot of NOS which(THE ULTIMATE SETUP) should get me into the 13.2 range ALL FOR UNDER 2800 bucks! WATCH OUT IMPORTS AND TPI FANS

I was driving around with Firebirdchick24 and there was a RSX type-s that kept trying to pass me. He kinda rubbed me the wrong way when he did a lane change and nearly cut my front end off. So I got in front of him.
From every stop light we were at I just kept wasting him, letting him catch up. I did it over, and over. It got to be so much fun teasing him that I kept waving at him and smiling while at the red lights. Was too much fun!
He finally turned off while I continued on straight.

Just to clarify, firebirdvert305, when I was racing those Tegs I had flowmasters (but stock manifolds), the Hypertech stage 2 chip, open element mod, and ultimate TBI mods done. I would launch with no wheelspin (peg leg at the time), and the Tegs would stay right by my door all the way to 80 when we both let off. Not once did I pull, even from the launch.
My advice to you, dont waste $$ on the L03. You can get a L98 in there for well under a grand if you do it yourself, and that will be a much better platform for you to mod. Just my .02 having been there, done that ...
