Just wonderin what you guys think, 92 350 tpi in a Z28 vs. a stock V6 eclipse, who should win???

 

with around 210 hp and around 205 torque i dont think it will be a close race at all.

youll beat him easy, I had auto with a guy that an 02 gt, and his ran 15.1 and he is a pretty good driver. you have a mid 14 second car if its in good tune you should take as long as you can drive the thing. Good Luck.

 

I know the hp of the z is 245, but what is the torque, anybody know? the eclipse has 200 hp with about the same torque i'm pretty sure

 

The Z should have 345 lb/ft of torque. Is the Eclipse a 5 speed? That will make a world of difference on how fast it is.

I was very impressed with the last 5 speed Eclipse I saw at the track. A girl owned it and even she was running mid 15's. Her boyfriend got in the car and ran a 14.9.

Not that bad, but a good driven L98 should beat it if in good tune. But if it is an automatic Eclipse I think they run high 15's, so probably not too much to worry about...
