I am at the Fishing club meeting last night and I drove my Wife's 2000 Durango w/318, I have a 50 series flowmaster on it and it sounds pretty damn good. Anyways....I am turning around and some of the guys start saying how good it sounds and this one nimrod states...What ya got??? 318?? I say yea...He comes back with " MY 4x4 has the HEMI and it would smoke you!!!" I egg him on for awhile and proceeds to tell me he has a chip in it that takes off the anti slip control and it " delivers all 350 HP to the tires" he states he is running " mid 13's" I say "I think you are probably running 15's". Hemi gets all flustered and challenges me...I say hold on so I can go get my Bird....He laughs and states "I would love to smoke your a$$ 'cause I am in the mood for some chicken"

I basically say yeah right (he has had about a twelve pack since the start of the meeting) mabe when you are sober sometime.

What an a$$clown.......Not only does he have a HEMI (dog) he has it in a 4x4

They are fast for a non performace version truck but thats about it. Nothing to be afraid of if you have anything that can run high 14's.

It ought to be pretty damn funny when you put a bus length on him...I raced one from a roll (60-100) in my daily driver (95 Subaru SVX) and put one to shame....and its a stock car w/ only 233hp and an automatic (no stick option ) . Nice trucks and fast....for a truck. I don't believe you'll have any problem. And please let him know that you didn't have to "put a chip in and disable your skid control to get 0% drivetrain loss. " Amazing technology he must have in that chip to totally disable friction, thermodynamics and interia...ITS A SUPER CHIP!

Yeah too bad they don't have a good aftermarket chip yet. My Best Friend has a Hemi Ram 4X4 added a K&N replacement filter and a Raven muffler and that thing is awsome. I have a 2001 Ram w/a 318. They are dogs but they have a decent top end. Hemi's are not overrated. They are just in Trucks that are heavy as hell.
When they have a aftermarket programmers he is getting one, hell they just made the dang headers for them at $500 a pop. Awsome trucks. I gotta get me one in place of my 01 Ram.
