On the way to work today I was driving along and I see this red Z28 w/high rise spoiler up ahead so I catch him. I saw the badges that said "5.7 tuned port injection" on the back bumper. It was sort of loud, it had flowmaster exhaust that I could see. Anyway were starting at the bottom of the main hill to go into Santa Fe(which is at like 6200 feet), and get side by side going like 45-50 then as I am downshifting I hear the 700 in the other guys car downshift too and we punch it. The whole time we were going up this steep, striaght hill and I pulled him by about 5 cars! I was only shifting at 5000 rpm too (mine reds at 6000)!! My new stage 3 clutch and Hurst billet shifter is awsome, I had to go kind of easy on the fast shifting cause it is still in the breakin period of the clutch. The guy followed me after thatand we were doing like 95 then I slowed down cause I had to take the off ramp and he just passed going the other way and gunned it again, he seemed kinda pissed, oh well his car was faster than I thought it was gonna be. I wonder if he had any other mods.

nice kill, i luv taking out modded L98s with my stock looking 83 Z, they alway think i have a lil 305. but then afterwords we stop and tell eachother how nice are cars are lol
