How fast are those?
because one pulled up next to me and he took off and i heard his engine screamin but i was able to keep up and started to gain i was sure i was goin to pass but i had to turn like 300 feet down. but yea and i was kinda surprised because i thought those were kinda quick...although they look like a tank.

 

Do you know if it was a V6 or 4 cyliinder? If it was a V6 i think it should say 3.5 on the back. The V6's are pretty darn quick. They have welll over 200 horsepower.

my 2001 maxima is rated at 220hp...it's quick, but nothing special. That's with a 3.0 V6, the newer 3.5 has 260HP in the Maxima...it should be considerably quicker than my '01

 

yeah my maxima is pretty quick its a 97 with the 3.0 and i would say it is a low 15 second car. definetly faster than the t/a stock.

 

I ran an 02 maxima 3.5 with intake with my old 305TPI/AUTO i had exhaust and a cutout, and he took me by about 2 cars from a dig up to 80. I was surprised at how it pulled up top. I held him off with that down low TPI torque.

 

so did they come with a four in like 2001 or so? it definatly wasnt the new new model i know those.

02 and 03 had 255hp with its 3.5

Anyways, they are pretty quick I rode in my friend's mom's 2002 and I got him to stomp it a few times from a stop and a roll, I think stock it has like 265 hp, auto runs the 1/4 in like 15.1, 6 speed runs it in like close to 14.8, so it would definitely give an L98 a run for it's money and any stock 305, tbi or tpi, it would probably absolutely own. So if you say that you started to gain on one, either he was letting off, or it was a 4 banger, I'm guessin the latter.

 

You started your reply upset at the ignorance surrounding you and complaining about misinformation posted. You then proceed to do the exact same thing...2002 Maxima has 260 HP not 265 HP.

ok umm all this over a maxima so i assume the dude couldnt drive because there was a newer malibu that stayed about 1/2 a car back... i watch while i was turning and they were hauling so im not sure anyway i guess ill just have to run into another one and see what happens:lala:
