Me VS Cavalier(w/Fart pipe)
I know guys!!! Easy kill but fun as hell. I am cruising down a two lane road when this so-called tuner passes me at like 95 mph. I was gonna shut him down but I figured I would wait till the end of the road because it comes to a light with two lanes side by side for going strait. I pull up and he revs the fart pipe I almost fell over from laughing!!! Light hits green I launch with mild wheel spin and I have him by like 6 or 7 car lenghths. I decided to let him know what he was dealing with so I ran her wide open till I was way over 100. By that time he was just a speck in the rear view. I drop pack to the speed limit and cruise when I see him coming up fast. I let him pass but decide to follow suit. I catch up and ride his butt and I have to keep letting off because I get to close. Anyway sanity kicks in and I back off and drive home safely haha

when it comes to the fart pipe crowd you should never show the lethalness of the well tuned v8. next time just beat him by a little so he thinks he has a chance, its way more fun that way! pretend like your having trouble keeping up then let loose!

Good kill but I wouldn't get to cocky with the LO3. I had many Z24's run almost neck and neck with me back when I was stock.

Interesting. Next to a pimped out Honda Civic nothing worser than a pimped out Z24. Nice to hear you gave it to him.
Then again, some of us wouldn't even bother.

Hey! I used to drive a Z24, 1990 3.1, fastest of the V6s (besides 5 speeds I guess) cause it had the 2.8 gears that year only. I was neck and neck with a tuned port 305 one time (I remember thinking Oh **** its a tuned port before we raced) tho his car was out of tune and detonating as i was keeping up to him, he gave me the thumbs up for the effort

Ii I HAD to own a little car, it would be a Z24 - then I'd figure out a way to shove an L67 into it...
That would be a fun little car.

Ha. That would be interesting - talk about a weekend-project-from-Hell, shoving a SBC into THAT car frame, and rigging it for RWD, too. The results would be cool, but how to mask the sound - the exhaust tone would be sort of a giveaway.

One of my good friends drive a cavy with a nice fartcan. I swear i can blow him away weekend after weekend and he just keeps coming back for more. Its sad, sometimes i'll let him get close enough to think he can get up next to me and pass just so he dont feel so bad.
