Raced two SRT-4 Neons at the track. Both had aftermarket wheels and tires and one had a carbon fiber hood. Both were good races. The one with the carbon fiber hood was the better car. He ran a best of 14.06 and would reel me in at the top of the track but just couldn't catch me by the end of the quarter. The other ran a best of 14.3. I ran 13.88, 13.89, 13.91 and 13.92. Their trap speeds were 99 and 101 respectively.

 

Do you know if they had any performance mods? Also nice runs!

 

No power mods, the slower one had a STB and that was it. Both were looking at the Mopar Stage II upgrade. I was pretty impressed considering it was their first time at a track but reaction times showed it and hence that was where the killing came in.

 

Not bad for stock then... one kid near me went 13.9 @ 102 and the only one I ever ran next to or near didnt not impress me! Got beat by an STS.
