Well I know you clicked off a 14.5 recently but I would only count on a win if that guy seriously cannot drive. Chances are you will lose. You may get him off the line with the great 60' times you have been getting, but he will walk you hard in a matter of no time. So keep the race short. Anything over 1/8 mile and be prepared to see tailights.

the LT1 will win, don't they run like a high 13 stock or very low 14. You will have to have more than a mid 14 car to beat him, but you will probably get him off the line but he will reel you in pretty quick

Yea those cars came right out of the factory with amazing amounts of power, ive driven a couple of them and was very impressed by them. However, a few more bucks into yours car and you should be able to take him no problem.

He was trapping almost at 94 which is amazing for a stock internal 305 TBI. LT1's trap between 99 and 102 by the end of the 1/4". That is a huge difference and the distance will only get wider as speeds increase.

Owning one myself, i have to say that the Lt1 will beat you.
It wont be bad at first, but it will only get worse has you go faster.

well i got my *** handed to me this time
we went from a 10 mph roll and the RS hooked good on the drag radials and the Z went sideways. So naturally i pulled a good car on him by the time third gear came around i was looking at taillights
man those things are monsters at top end:hail:
