87 Mazda pickup

this guy in town has an 87 mazda pickup, that is much like my dad's that he had back a while ago, so i decided to ask him to sell it to me, to do it up like my dad's old one that won many a car shows, so he says if i can beat him in it, he'll sell it for about $500 less then he was asking, so i ask him to pop the hood, he resists, so i commence to accept the offer, we go to the road of his choice, he revs it up, and this lil truck opens up like a winston cup car, loud as hell and he gives a lil brake torque, no more than 3-4 secs long and smoke had billowed out from under his bed, i get hesitant, and he smiles so we get my friend to be our tree, he waves us off, and we go at it, 1-3 gears we were side-by-side, 4th i pulled a lil in front and by 5th i had a length on him, when we pull back to his house, my dad (whom i called on the way back) was there with the money, so just out of curiosity i ask him to pop it, sure enough there is a 383, Demon carb, K&N Filters, Comp Cam, Edelbrock air cleaner, the whole thing was beautiful, chrome all over, it made me want to find a room alone with the thing, beautiful truck, and now its mine!!!!!:lala: :lala: :lala:

My sister has an 86 Mazda low rider pickup and we were looking at it for a small block swap. Could you grab a couple pictures of the engine bay for me? We came to the conclusion that it would be better to swap in a Ford 302 because if the distributor. Looks like the firewall would have to cut back quite away for the chevy engine. Thanks

I think some people, me included, are starting so smell bull **** in your threads. If you claim to have something amazing, like your CFI 383, then you should be able to prove it.

You spend $7500 on a pickup in a spur of the moment race/deal, yet can't get a computer or digi camera?

Just my opinion.
