2001 silverado vs 85 TA
Ok who would win and by how much in the 1/4???
2001 ext cab silverado 5.3 liter rated at 285 horse.
or
1985 TA with a 5.0 rated at 215 horse.

hum? thats kinda tough I think the truck will win ,they have some real nuts but on the other hand the 85 tpi cars are faster than the common seen 86 tpi which I know would loose

85 was the fastest year for the auto 305 tpi I believe. I saw an article on an 85 IROC and it ran 15.3 in the qaurter the year it came out so its gonna be a close race.

Those vortec motors are good motors but I think it will be close, 85 is the good 305 vs. a heavier truck with more power, i don't know
