98 T/A supercharged LS1 vs. Audi TT w/Nitrous
I have another race lined up but this time it's with my 98 Ram Air Trans-Am. Who will win? 98 supercharged T/A or a Audi TT running Nitrous? I have no idea what year this car is but it's supposed to be quick, we'll see. We race tonight at the strip in Knoxville.

I wouldnt write off the TT so fast. The 1.8T can be modifyed to produce 400-500 hp. Add some nitrous along with an all wheel drive and you may have some problems. The key to you winning is gonna be traction. If you can put all that power to the ground you should be able to win.

I know this is a third gen site, ya'll dogged me on my LG4 87 camaro but I thought I'd get some opinions on this run before it happens tonight. I have no idea what this kid has done to this Audi except for nitrous but I'm pushing around 435hp at the rear wheels, but traction will be a problem. I'm running Goodyear Eagle F1's, 275 40 ZR17's on the back.

I would give the win to you. If traction is a problem, race him from a roll. I know n/a LS1's are nasty from a roll, I can only imagine what a boosted LS1 can do! Good luck.

thanks, we'll see what happens but it looks like the rain might post-pone the race, I sure as hell can't hook up when the road is wet. I'll blister him if I have to blow up my motor doing it.

We got lucky tonight because it didn't rain and the T/A hooked up somewhat
but I smoked him like nothing!! It wasn't even a race!! He sprayed a 150 shot but couldn't handle the torq of the T/A, although I did get into it with a 03 Cobra tonight, we won't even go there
I'll tell you guys more about it tomorrow, take it easy.
