well first off me and my friend decided to race because his brother loves american muscle so i wanted to show him a race between his brother and me. 98tiburon fx slow as ***** but still a race.

so we get on the road and line up at a light and i say i dont like this intersection just go like normal and hit it, ill hear your car get loud and ill go. while at the light i noticed a 4th gen transam behind me. so we go like normal and i hit it bring it to about 70 had about 4 cars on him. after i tap the breaks i hear a blow off valve right next to me look over see a eclipse 95-99?

so the next light my friends still in the middle and the eclipse is on the left lane im on the right. im like yo hes got a turbo to let my friend know. another bad intersection so i didnt really get on it no one did.

so the next light the eclipse is still in the left but theres the trans am in the middle im on the right. so light goes green i get a delayed reaction get to hit it right only slightly slower for maybe the first 90 ft i was even with the trans am he was maybe 3 ft ahead i didnt know where the eclipse was cause his car is right there. so his lt1 blows by me lol. gets a quick car on me then another and lets off. and we just get down to the speed limit and i hear a whine of a turbo blow by us. doing a drive by after he already lost he was maybe 3 cars behind me.

so the the lights were green for awile ta now in the right lane me in the left eclipse in the middle about 2 cars behind me going under a underpass. i hear his turbo spooling and him coming quick. i decide to hit it knowing hes already going faster than me and all. i stuck basically with him he got half a car on me before i started slowing down the trans had a car on him. so i hop in middle since eclipse went in the left.

the ta pulls next to me i give him a thumbs up hes like "whats up with that mistubishi" i say i dont know but we beat him and he keeps doing flybys. they both turn off going right im way past my turn off now. i dont know where my friend is(still dont) this is like 40 mins ago.

i make u turn go at light a vette (80's)sittin there im like oh ****. i didnt want to race cars ahead i go like normal. only got the rpms up to maybe 2500 i hear the vette just mash it sounded like **** must be way outta tune and beat im still not even on it he puts a half a car all i see is his hazards on. im like wtf dumb ***. i let him do his thing and got ahead of him flew next to a v6 mustang(they grow on trees here) didnt do nothing.

that was like the 3rd v6 stang there one when we were all hoping lanes tib eclipse me ta one was in the middle and didnt do nothing at all.

im makin my way back to my turn off and a damn 4cyl accord new ones matching my moves with lane hoping and takes turn with me rides my ***. we were in traffic didnt do nothing.

Sounds like fun. Around my place, big races like that are rare, I mean one with all kinds of cars willing to go race. I most I have had was 3, a C5 vette my iroc and a 50's truck with a built 383 I think. (He killed me, vette didnt run). Good runs, but are you only running 15's? Sounds like something aint right. How small of a cam? That TA should have cooked you well done. Turbo eclipse should have run you as well, or at least closer.

 

i never street race i never can get into a race at all but since me and my friend were racing it drew attention i guess hes got a r i c e r everything but the fat pipe. the trans am didnt pull as hard as i expected. the turbo eclipse didnt seem fast at all i was like im gonna get toasted when i hear the blow off valve but it just wasnt moving like i thought it would. i did run at the track on a hot *** day. my timing is set at base no advance at all not for long though. even when i hit it when he was spooling his turbo up behind me he still didnt pull hard even know he had the speed already.

the trans am was nice though when i was racing it full on when he was pulling away i looked down at his exaust just saw it and heard it sounded great it was def aftermarket


i dont know the cam specs was done before i got the car but u can hear it not a big lumpy cam just a nice little loop to it and im not outta tune to wear its a mistakin big cam lol
