Syclone questions

A guy in my unit I was talking to today said that his syclone would kill my Trans Am. I agreed, I havent done anything to my car yet. I told him I was pretty sure I could get it to beat it with some mods. He told me it could kill any Trans Am. I was skeptical. Then later in the conversation hs said no V8 in existance could stand up to the vortec 4.6 engine. Again I was skeptical. Help me talk some sense in to this guy.

first off tell him its a 4.3L not a 4.6L. that little mixup right there tells me this guy has no clue

Syclones and Typhoons are low 14 sec trucks stock, high 13s with the right driver. if hes stock, get him to line up with a LS1 Trans Am and watch his ego disappear

that AWD makes 60 ft times incredible...in the 1/8th I think he'd have an LS1 but not in the 1/4

Be careful. Here at tulsa raceway park I ran a 12 second syclone. Needless to say I got my doors blown off. Those trucks can be made into beasts easy.

Syclones and Typhoons are low 14 sec trucks stock, high 13s with the right driver
incorrect..

Syclone in stock formation will do 13.4x locate a CAR&DRIVER mag from sept-dec '90 they did a comparrison of the syclone and Ferrari 308 in the test.. Syclone won..

Typhoon in stock trim is 14.1x

i used to own 2 typhoons and 1 syclone for 10 years.. with just very very few mods and about 500$.. you can get a syclone in the 12.8x.. doesnt matter on the driver because for 1.. its an auto, and 2.. AWD doesnt let you roast the tires as much as just having all the power in the rear.

power split is 35/65 front/rear.

he is right to say he will beat your TA.. only in stock vs stock..

if his Syclone is modded in anyway.. usually will be in the 12.5-12.8's.

further info on this, visit www.syty.net for a forum like this one or www.syty.org for tech data

you can also look at www.sportmachines.com

KiLLJOY, thank you. Its very easy to make a factory blown car fast, in this case PAS. It doesn't take much to make these things stupid fast.

PAS was on there way to being a great company, don't know what happened to them. PAS built the TTA, Syclone and Typhoon.
