BMW M3 goes down to the TBI :)
From a stop, to an on ramp to the interstate. I had him by 2 cars the whole way and was VERY slowly pulling away. Late 90's early 2000 model, 2 door. Couldn't get a better look at it because it was pretty dark outside. Ran up to 85 mph before slowing down to merge.
I know they're decent cars and I'm happy now that I'm 3-0 with the new motor and only on the first chip attempt.
Respect the TBI!!

I stayed with a '95-'97 M3 from about 70 til 115 a few days ago. Traffic was coming up fast ahead so we both let off. I thought they were a bit quicker than that, but research shows that they are mid-high 14sec cars, which is right about where I expect my car to be.

I saw a modded one at the track running consistent high 12's, when I say "modded" it was actually pretty lightly modded, it is owned by one of those mostly import "performance shops" around here called Ride Revolution, anyways they have that, a TT Supra, and a TT Skyline, but their M3 is pretty darn quick

stock tbi no, but the tbi sytem can support power, when you get rid of the crappy cam, heads and intake. the injection system itself is not responsible for the weakness of the lo3

I'd honestly like to see this particular project with the right gearing in the rear, along with reducing the car's weight. Add a little stroke to that 305, and 12's just might become a reality (after the weight reduction, and gearing, that is).

I used a brand new 350, bored out the throttle body and the intake manifold, gave it a bigger cam, some Trick Flow heads, full exhaust, full suspension and rear-end. . . so what's with the hatin'?
