What other wheels fit 3rd gens?? (BMW? Truck Wheels?)

Wasap everybody!! I've been looking over wheels for 3rd gen camaros but haven't found a style I really like yet. I think I heard somewhere that some BMW wheels do fit on a third gen camaro. Backspacing and Offset aside, I was wondering if anyone knows what other wheels besides 3rd gen camaro specific wheels might possibly fit?? Would fullsize chevy truck wheels fit? Do BMW wheels really fit? I'm almost @ the point where I want to change my camaro to fit the wheels I want (like new rear end, modified front). I dont want to run adapters, but I do want to run other wheels like Year 2000 corvette wheels, or BMW rally style wheels. Does anyone have any info? Thanks for the input!!!

I'm not sure about the BMW wheels, but I know full size truck wheels won't fit. They use the 5 on 5 bolt pattern. 3rd gens use a 5 on 4 3/4 bolt pattern. S10 wheels will fit and most other GM mid-size cars. I've seen the newer model S10 extreme wheels on a 3rd gen and they look pretty good.

I just put a 4th gen rear end in my car and I'm still running 3rd gen rims, so I think 4th gen rims will fit the 3rd gens too.

Hey all, well, I have a set of 16x9in chrome, CSI 3-piece-forged wheels for sale. All four are in very good condition & have 5&1/2 in. backspacing. They fit onto 3rd gens using only two thin 1/4in. slip-on-spacers for the rear wheels to increase the backspacing. The rims will easily hold 255+ tires. Because 2 of 4 "center/logo caps" are missing, the price is a cool $200 for the set. pvkn1ght@hotmail.com

Hey settle down… He is asking for information about rims that fit his car, not buying them from anyone. Anyway I have never heard anything about BMW rims fitting a 3rdgen but if you don’t want to use spacers then it’s going to be tough finding the correct offset for the rims to fit. I have Centerlines on my 84 TA, the best thing to do is go with a company that makes a style rim that you can choose your offset Centerline, Cragar, I don’t know if Boyds is still business. I also had Monte Carlo SS rims on my car at onetime so I’m guessing most late 80's early 90's GM car rims may fit.

I dunno about the BMW wheels. BMWs use a 5 on 120mm bolt pattern and F-bodies use a 5 on 4.75" bolt pattern, which comes to 120.65mm. You think a little over half a millimeter will keep it from fitting? Probably not, but...
