Launching an L03...

Well as you know with owning an L03 car i need any advantage i can get..I would just like to know what is the ideal RPM for me to launch at......(stock L03 T-5) without creating much wheel spin and will give me a solid launch??I know these cars have their torque peak at about 2400 RPM...would this be it??

You will have to find the right launch point yourself. A lot depends on your suspension and tires you have. With my 17x9's and suspension stuff I would feather the clutch out at 3k or so before I dumped it. Seemed to hook pretty good out of the hole that way. Just go practice at the track and compair your 60' times.

Then watch as only one tire smokes for a few feet.

Forget the slicks and find a really steep downward hill.

Like Shifty, I held mine at 3000. Those LO3's are actually quite torquie. But as you know, you fall on your face at the top end.
