Here's the story. One friday me and my friends are headed home from school. my buddie asks me if i want to run an LT1, so i say sure. I want to see what the 305 has against an LT1. The LT1 has a cold air intake, k&n, and an exhaust cut out. So my friend calls up this kid and i go and get my car. We head out to this road that has been freshly repaved but there is basically nothing out there, no houses, no nothing. So we line them up, the kid counts down from 3 and we're off. he gets me out of the hole by about a car length and i take it to the first of the top of 1st and shift hard into 2nd i gain back maybe 1/4 of a car length back. We hold that way until i shift into third gear and we shut down. I slow down and ask him if he wants to go again. He tells me that there is someone behind us and to take our first right. I look in the review and its only a white chevy van nothing special so i don't think anything of it. We turn and i look in the rear veiw again and their is a cop with his lights on. We get pulled over and we both get racing/exhibition of speed tickets. He didn't even have a speed on us either. Kind of crapy, but its my first offense, i'm 17. Just thought i'd let you guys know. Consider yourself lucky. Out here in Cali if you get caught street racing you'll get a big fine, have your car impounded, and you could go to jail.

 

Thats the way it should be. Maybe thatll teach all these morons.
