Reply to beaten by a Viper
Sorry you ran into that guy. I'm a very proud owner of a Viper GTS ACR. I love the car. I also have an 89 Iroc. I love that car too. As the gentleman more or less was saying the man is probably a pr... on a bicycle.
It's not what you drive it's if you love to drive it. All of the viper drivers I've met have been excellent even before I bought one. Actually a yes you can have one gift from my sweet wife.
Almost every time I drive it I do get someone in some sort of car either want to race it, tailgate it to get me to do a 100, or cut across the front of it to show me how good their car handles I suppose. It does get old. The fact is when stuff like that happens your dealing with immaturity and you find those everywhere. Heck I find it in RC airplanes. One guy has a jet, I fly a prop and I'm pond scum.
A lot of these members don't just own third gens and a lot of hotrodders or car lovers don't car what you have as long as you have it. One guy or gal helping each other on their rides makes this a great place. Again sorry about the guy. I'll give you a ride in mine if your ever in the Fresno Ca area.
Mine's stock you would probably beat it. Funny thing maybe everyone was just being nice but so far I've had nothing but compliments on the exhaust note.
I always thought they sounded like milk trucks.
