Finally got a few races yesterday-last night!
First up was a '91 GTA that threw a rev as I was passing in the opposite direction. According to the owner, who just bought the car in NY; it's got a 383, SLP runners, 52 MM TB, Edelbrock Headers, Flowmaster catback, gutted cats, K&N, TH 400 trans and 4.11 gears. He said it ran 12.2's. Anyway, we went from a 15 MPH roll and I slowly pulled a car to 70. Next was from a light and I pulled 2 cars up to 70 again. I'm guessing it still has the L98.
Second was a '03 C5 auto. I had a considerable weight advantage. I was by myself (155 lbs.), older guy and his wife probably (400 lbs.). We were playing around from a roll and it was pretty even. So we catch a light and I said let's go on green and he said sure. Light changes and we both spin a little. I jump out to a car and a half lead and we shut down for the next light. He's like "Damn, is that Tuned Port?" I say Yes, He says "I had a '85 Vette and it didn't pull like that" I said Well, if we had gone a little farther I'm sure you'd have caught me. He laughed and we went our separate ways. Nice Guy!
Last race was a friends C6 auto. He sold his Kenne Bell Cobra and bought the Vette. Bone stock on a Dynojet it made 345 HP and 360 TQ. He's since added Long Tubes and a Cam and dyno'd 430 HP. So we're cruising and BS'ing and we catch a light. Now I know I'm going to get killed but I've never seen his car in action besides the dyno. He also has some traction issues so I'm thinking it could be interesting for a second or two since I'm on DR's. Light changes and we're both spinning. I grab before he does but it doesn't much matter because even spinning, he's staying right along side. Somewhere around 50-60 he grabs and pulls harder than just about anything I've ever run on the street. He puts 10 cars+ on me in a couple seconds.

Still the factory 3.23's. It was funny because he kept goin on and on about how there's no way I'm running the original L98. I popped the hood and let him check it out. Not like you can tell anything from the outside but he saw the factory TB, Runners, Base, Heads and so on.
